Holbeck is an inner city area of Leeds, West Yorkshire, and is home to the oldest surviving working men's club in the UK.
If you are a sports fan then you are in luck, as Elland Road, home to Leeds United Football Club, is only a 5 minute drive away. The club currently play in the championship and are seeking to return to the Premier League. Their main success came in the 1960s and 70s under the management of Don Revie.
Away from the hustle and bustle of the sporting arena, you can enjoy a family day out in Holbeck Moor Park. It is home to the Holbeck Gala, which has been going for over 70 years and is run entirely by local residents. At the event you can enjoy a range of stalls and entertainment for family and friends.
If you live in the area of Holbeck and are looking to change someone’s life through fostering, then please don’t hesitate in getting in contact with us.
At Fostering to Inspire, we work closely with our foster carers to ensure that a feeling of an ‘extended family’ is created around the fostering home and the child. Our carers are never left to ‘go it alone’.
If you are looking to get in touch and start your foster journey, or are just looking for more details and guidance, Fostering to Inspire would love to hear from you.
